Hover conditions for a rotor
Quote from Tashif_Syed on 27. February 2025, 22:37I am new to this software and I have been using it for designing propellers and rotors in hover. I am having a doubt regarding how to define the hover conditions for the rotor during the optimization of the blade. I have tried to keep the flight speed really low (0.00001) but then it just gives me the NaN values error.
Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

I would assume that the propeller optimization algorithms are not valid for a hover condition, with advance ratio ~ 0.
