How do I define the location of struts?
Hi all,
I have searched the half day – finally I try it here in the forum.
How do I define the location of struts of a VAWT? (I used the SANDIA_34_1.1 as a template and understand the geometric placement of blades, tower, connections, cables. I also know how to define the structural properies of struts: similar to blades.)
An example would help me.

struts for VAWT’s are defined in the “Blade Design Module”, see the attached image.
I know that the documentation lacks quite a bit of content on the VAWT mode – hopefully we can add this in due time.

After your hint I still was searching the struts in your screenshot. Because I already had some blades. When I clicked on the “New”, I could see the option the define struts.
