opposed to OpenFAST you cannot specify tapered members (with varying diameter and structural properties) in QBlade’s substructure member table. Instead, members have constant geometric and structural properties.
To model the scenario you have shown you can discretize the tapered member into several members with constant properties. See the attached image as a visual example for this.
