Hello: I am new to QBlade, downloaded the software. Instruction says there is an .exe file in the folder but there is not. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you,

Bela Kaltenekker

Hello Bela Kaltenekker,

if you download the QBladeCE_x.x.x.x_win zip archive there should be an executable in the folder after unpacking it. Maybe you downloaded the linux version by accident?

BR,

David

Thank you for the reply. I have downloaded the windows version. A screen shot of the unpacked file is attached. I am sure it is me, but I can not see an executable file?

Regards,

Bela

Hi,

looks like you are not showing the full content of the folder. If you scroll down you should find the executable.

BR,

David

Thank you. Here is a screenshot of the rest of the download.

Hi there,

the file QBladeCE_2.0.6 is marked as an application. Probably in your windows explorer settings you have deactivated file extensions for known file types – thats why the .exe ending doesnt show.

BR,

David

Thank you. I have Google Chrome, I will check the file extensions.

Hello David:

I was finally able to open the software. I am a semi retired engineer and physicist still keeping active consulting for clients. I am working with a client trying to simulate a ducted wind turbine design . I would like to use QBlade to do this work. How do I do that? I would like to get some training with the software, how can I get that? Thank you for your time.

Grgards,

Bela Kaltenekker

Hello David:
