Real World Performance in Enterprise Edition
Quote from selvarajooSR on 15. September 2022, 12:30Hi Dr. Marten,
Was wondering what does ” 30x real time at 20Hz” mean in the Enterprise Edition?

Quote from David on 15. September 2022, 18:09Hello,
this means that on a single multi-threaded workstation aero-hydro-elastic simulations can be run 30x faster than real time with a temporal resolution of 0.05s (or 20Hz, which is an adequate value for most multi MW turbine designs).
Or in other words: in 1h wall clock time about 30h of simulation time can be evaluated with QBlade-EE. This is mostly relevant for Design Load Case simulations, where often several hundred hours of load cases need to be simulated.
