The first time I use the QBlade for vertical wind turbine design. I want to code a DLL for VAWT. I am familiar with the BLADED DLL files. When I construct a wind turbine, by using the turbine structural model, the main input file entered. The following appears:

Hint:
Error: Blade Pitch Nodes Could not be created, check rotor geometry and connections in the main input file…

Please tell me from where I can fix the problem.

Hi Xiaofeng Cai,

as the message suggest the problem is that your VAWT geometry is not properly defined.

When setting the VAWT specific geometry parameters you need to make sure that the blades (or struts) can be connected to the torquetube, e.g. the torquetube needs to extended to a height position that the blades or strut connections can be realized, see the image below:
