The true pitch angle is fixed at 6 deg for VAWT

the “True Pitch Angle” channel shows the “measured” pitch angle, which includes any pitch offset errors that can be defined in the structural main input file.
If you did not define any offset errors then this is exactly the pitch angle communicated back by the controller. In your attached screenshot you show the “IN[1]” controller channel, the pitch angle thats communicated back from the controller to the turbine is found in the “OUT[1]” controller channel.
This should be exactly the pitch angle thats show in the “True Pitch Angle” channel. In this sense the answer to your question is most probably found in the controller logic…
